We like to keep the history of this area alive by sharing it with other like-minded people!  This quaint little farmhouse and all of its limestone glory has served many different purposes over its 200 years of standing tall.

In 1835, The Manchester family settled at the intersection of Trask Bridge, Winnebago, and Cemetery Road. Though there is not much remaining history of this family’s legacy, the area once contained a blacksmith shop, a wagon shop, an inn, and a post office. The settlement only lasted until 1875 and not many know about it today.

No doubt the building has seen its share of influential people from the times of the Civil War until now.

“From our very first visit we saw its full potential, just as those who occupied the farm before us. With its vast history and expansive land, we knew from the beginning it was a natural state for horses to roam.
